This little beauty is my baby girl, Sadie. She’s roughly 5 months old and purrs like a motorboat but sounds like an elephant!
Her favourite pass time is watching the birds and chipmunks- when she’s not rough-housing with her brother from another mother, Ripley. I sometimes can’t tell if they love or hate each other, but then catch them snuggling when they think no one is watching.
Sadie loves sniffing things, then has little sneezing fits. She also gets gassy sometimes, so it’s a good thing she’s cute. She’s extremely snuggly and will ram right into your face to get your attention before lying down next to, behind, or on you.
From my family and I, and of course, Sadie (and Ripley!), have a furtastic Friday!

Meet Arabella, a 6 year old Chilean Rose Tarantula (Grammostola Rosea).
Arabella is very calm and loves eating crickets. She was wild in South America and travelled many miles to get here via a box of bananas. I guess we could say, she also likes to travel…
*Buddy (not real name) found her and brought her home to his wife, who was not very happy, to say the least. She was instantly re-homed and has changed owners a number of times before ending up at her current location, where she’s been loved for 3 years. She’s got a bunch of interesting “siblings” that we’ll be sure to meet in future posts.
From her parents, Micheline and Colin Moore, myself, and of course, Arabella, have a furtastic Friday!

He’s about 3 and 1/2 months old now and is living up to his name- or rather, many variations of his name. Ripley’s believe it or not, because of the things he can get into, Ripper (let’s just say, all my curtains are tied up high right now), and Ripples, because of the adorable way his stripes are rippled throughout his little body.
Right now, he’s all paws and has a ferocious appetite. He’s loved everything he’s been fed and miraculously knows when it’s time for his smelly wet food.
As many of you know, my two year old kittie, Bart, accidentally escaped and ran away about a month and a half ago. It broke my heart, and still does. After much debate, we moved ahead with another rescue and he’s certainly wormed his way into our hearts.
Sweet Ripley has two personalities: he can be an absolute, hyperactive terror one minute, then suddenly slump over my legs in a dead sleep, transforming into the cutest, gentlest little creature.
From myself, my family, and of course, Ripley, have a furtastic Friday!

Meet Bella, a fluffy tuxedo breed who loves to have her pretty fur brushed. She rolls about, happily purring, while this is being done.
Bella loves to hunt treats out of her “treaty puzzle” every morning, holding her prize between both her paws like a squirrel. In her spare time, she enjoys chasing flying bugs.
She has a favourite toy since the age of 8 weeks old. It’s missing its original feather and has been lovingly sewn back together. Bella will pick that toy out from her basket above all others and if she loses it (which is often), it must be located and then hidden amongst the other toys so that she can hunt for it again.
Bella is sweetly affectionate and loves to knead and purr on her human mamma, then fall asleep splayed out across her chest. She is very much loved and cherished.
From her owner, Kathy St. Denis, myself, and of course, Bella, have a furtastic Friday!

Last week, you met my sister Dottie. She’s okay, but they tell me I’m the best cat ever (she doesn’t know, of course).
My awesome family adopted me from a shelter. Some of the things I love most are to cuddle, make cute little sounds and run all over the house. My favourite thing to do, though, is to play with Dottie. We’re pretty close.
From Twilight’s owners, Nancy Boissonneault, Pierre Cardinal (and the kids), and of course, Twilight, have a furtastic Friday!

Meet Dottie. She just loves this crazy heat we’ve been having!
Dot likes bathing in the sun or sleeping near radiators and purrs as loud as a Harley! If you’re eating cheese, you might want to hide it because Dot is crazy about it.
She has a sister named Twilight (we’ll meet her another day) who loves to tease her, but Dottie doesn’t mind. That’s what sisters do, right? Twilight thinks she’s the favourite, but, really, both cats are.
From her owners, Nancy Boissonneault and Pierre Cardinal (and the kids), and, of course, Dot, have a furtastic Friday!

A lot of you have already met my baby boy, Bart. I love him like no other cat that I’ve ever owned. I saved him from a shelter, and he in turn saved me in ways that would be too long to write about here.
My boy ran away almost two weeks ago, leaving my family and I heartbroken. Our voices have become hoarse from yelling his name and we’re covered in all sorts of bug bites from our tireless search.
Bart loves yoga, so we’re telling ourselves that he’s gone on a yoga retreat. Wherever he is, my hope is that he is safe and enjoying his adventure.
Give your special pet an extra hug today. From myself, and Bart, wherever he is, have a furtastic Friday.
